Crafted from premium quarter-sawn hard rock maple with a tight grain structure, this bridge capping material is carefully selected for consistency and precision. Supplied unfinished (no stain) and chosen to strict tolerances, it is ideal for high-quality piano bridge repairs and restorations.
Available by the piece or by the box.
Box Quantity
Each box contains approximately 20 square feet (1.85 m²) of material. Contents include a mix of assorted lengths and widths:
- Lengths up to 59" (150 cm)
- Widths from 3½" to 6" (8 to 15 cm)
- Minimum thickness: ½" (12.7 mm)
Single Pieces Available
Individual planks are also available in 59" (150 cm) length x ½" (12.7 mm) thickness. Choose from the following widths:
- 4" (100 mm)
- 4½" to 5" (114 to 127 mm)
- 5½" to 6" (140 to 150 mm)
Extra Long Option
A limited quantity of 65" (165 cm) planks is also available for long treble bridges, including models such as Steinway & Sons Model D.
